true early 1960s cardigan with a jacquarded block plaid knit!
very shaggy mohair.
from SKM/Seattle Knitting Mills.
colors: black, electric blue, dark magenta/maroon, grey.
black ribbed waist and cuffs
button front
the suede elbow patches are original. Jantzen and Robert Bruce made very similar cardigans, i honestly expect the Jantzen ones may have been made at the same Seattle Knitting Mill.

no size marked, use measurements:
43" chest, armpit to armpit
34" waist ribbing (lots of stretch)
19.5" shoulder, edge to edge
sleeve length: 24.5"
23" long total

notes: kind of a greyish spot on the suede, shown.
i mended and darned EVERY HOLE in this sweater. i think they're all pretty invisible, even the one i completely re-wove.
there's a black-on-black darn on the inside wrist, shown. i tucked the cuffs back about an inch and sewed them to fix any wrist holes or fraying.
