sc – single crochet
inc – increase (two single crochets in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)
sl st – slip stitch

••• MATERIALS AND TOOLS •••

Yarn:
• 3 skeins of plush yarn (100g/68m) for crocheting the main parts (body, wings, legs) – Alize Velluto 329.
• 0.5 skein of plush yarn (100g/68m) for crocheting the head – Alize Velluto 532.
• 1/3 skein of plush yarn (100g/68m) for crocheting the beak and legs – Alize Velluto 02.
• A small amount of plush yarn (100g/68m) for crocheting the neck stripe Alize Velluto 62 as well as Alize Velluto 87 – for contrasting details on the wings.

Tools:
• Choose a hook size that matches your crochet tension (there should
be no holes in the fabric). I use a 5 mm hook (if you crochet very tightly, it’s better to use a 5.5 mm or 6 mm hook).
• 100g of stuffing – polyester fiberfill, hollow fiber, or similar.
• Needle with a large eye for embroidering the face and sewing on the parts.
• Scissors, sewing pins.
• Stitch marker

If you use the same weight of yarn, the toy will be approximately 55 cm (21,6 inches) tall. You can make it bigger or smaller depending on the yarn and hook size you choose.
