To make the mitts you’ll need:

1/3 yard main body fabric
1/3 yard pre-quilted cotton fabric (you can buy...or make your own using cotton batting quilted between cotton fabrics)
1/3 yard fabric for underbelly
1/3 yard Insul-Bright heat protectant
1/8 yard fabric for wings
Small scraps for beaks and combs.

These amounts will be enough for TWO chicken mitts.
