I recommend removing Jewelry before swimming and bathing, however since the tassels are genuine silk you may experience "static cling" If you do, simply wet your fingers and then lightly run them over the tassel to desensitize the static electricity. You can also rinse the tassel and reshape it. Real sandalwood that is untreated may dry out or fade if you get it wet. I recomend rubging a VERY small amont of mustard oil (you can add a touch of sandalwood oil) to restore your beads but be careful to not get any on the tassel. Like any untreated wood when sandalwood is exposed to body oils, frequent handeling and the environment it will get a patina and darken. Your Mala will transform as you use it, enjoy the process.

All my Sandalwood beads are certified genuine and come form Vrindavan India and their manufacture helps the widows who live there have better lives. My Spacers and charms are Sterling Silver or Pure Silver, The gold vermeil charms and spacers are 22 K over Sterling Silver. I use 100% recycled silk for my tassels and genuine Rudraksha from India and Nepal. The large Rudraksha actually come from a friends farm in Nepal. I take great care to use the best quality materials I can find to ensure your satisfaction.

Sizing Details For Malas

The measurements given is the length hanging top to bottom, not the circumference. (example an 18 inch necklace is measured open end to end) where as I measure these closed and doubled.

Use lukewarm water and a mild detergent specifically designed for delicate fabrics or natural fibers like Unicorn Fiber Wash, After hand washing, roll up in a towel pressing gently (don't wring) then hang and allow the garment to drip dry.
