Are orders tracked? What info is required for shipping?

Yes all orders are tracked. Usually orders over $400 CAD require signature at delivery. Please provide your phone number for International orders. Orders over $2,500 to the US and over $2000 to the EU require formal entry, where you may need to provide further information, confidentially, including your SSN or Employee Insurance Number.

Please refer to the measurements provided when determining the size and fit of the garment. Any indication of "fits like" on the part of (that)bityou is meant to be a guide and approximation, but the measurements are what determine proper fit. Feel free to contact me should you have any questions as to the fit of a garment.

All measurements are taken with the garment lying flat. bust/chest, waist, hips, sweep and flare are taken straight across lying flat and then doubled. shoulder, arm, length, rise and inseam are taken lying flat.

What does DDP shipping mean

We now ship all International orders DDP, meaning the duties, tariffs, and fees are not paid by you upon delivery of your package. This includes the new US tariffs as well as VAT. Please contact us for any questions or concerns regarding this matter.

beautiful dress from collectible Black American designer Patrick Kelly. originally from Mississippi and self-taught, he moved to Paris and, sponsored by Sonia Rykiel, was the first American designer to gain entry to France's exclusive governing body of ready-to-wear.

the dress is in the classic bustier silhouette that he used often. the fabric is an interesting textile, linen in a light beige with a white contrast top stitch. nice juxtaposition between a classic, elegant cut and an almost rustic fabric. the dress has boning for the corset top and a slim cut skirt. lined.

good vintage condition, with the following caveats - the dress was heavily altered by a previous owner to the current size. please check the measurements provided, as the sizing is no longer at all accurate. the boning is secure, though I would say that it is not as structured as one might picture for a boned corset, and does not offer firm support. the lining has some visible wear/small tears in certain spots, though this is of course not visible. the outer fabric is in very good condition and the dress presents beautifully. price reflects fact that it has been altered and wear to lining.

made in France. 100% linen. fits XS/S or US 2, though pay close attention to the measurements, as the dress was altered to its current size. shown here on US 0 mannequin with 32" bust, 24" waist and 33.5" hips, where it was slightly clamped in the bust.
