Wrap tape measure under the armpits, around the fullest part of the bust.

***Waist:
Wrap tape measure around where you normally wear your pants.

***Hips:
Stand with legs about 6 inches apart and measure around the fullest part of the hips (usually about 7-10 inches below the waist).

***Shoulder Width:
Stretching the measuring tape across the back, from the very end of the left shoulder to the end of the right shoulder.

***Armscye:
Wrapping the tape measure from the top of the shoulder, down beneath the armpit and back up to the top of the shoulder.

*** Bicep Girth/Upper Arm:

My coat is BEAUTIFUL!!! The color (light variegated gray) will never show dog hairs nor debris. The coat is wonderfully soft, and when I put it on, it felt like a gentle blanket. The flared back does not accentuate my hips. The large button in front, along with the special sturdy inside snap, assures me that my coat will stay closed on windy days, while still having that elegant look. Love, love, love my black swing coat that is just perfect for 4'11' rotund little me! Edoa made this perfectly to my measurements. It is lined and finished wonderfully, a nice weight fabric, and came packed well. It arrived quickly after Edoa finished it too! Very, very pleased.

The coat is very nicely made, though quite heavy due to the nature of the fabric. However, the real problem is that for some reason, it has a very bad sort of petroleum smell that I just couldn't get rid of. I'm having to return it, which makes the purchase a rather huge mistake. P.S. The maker refunded me for the coat without question, and I am very grateful to them. Very trustworthy.
