Lighting the Stars: Stargazer Fine Art Photography; New Zealand Night Sky

About This Photograph: In the stillness of a remote New Zealand night, a lone figure stands at the water’s edge, casting a beam of light into the star-filled sky. Surrounded by snow-capped Alpine peaks and the glassy surface of a glacial lake, this photograph captures the wonder and courage of exploring the wilderness after dark. A dramatic and peaceful scene that speaks to solitude, adventure, and the vastness of nature — perfect for lovers of night photography and rugged landscapes.

Print Details:
Available in multiple formats and sizes to perfectly fit your space, from smaller accent prints to large statement pieces.

Unframed Prints: Unframed prints are Giclée printed edge-to-edge on Luster Photo Paper, a 240gsm premium photographic paper with a satin luster finish, providing a subtle pearl-like texture.
These prints will be shipped rolled.
>> If you prefer to frame the print yourself, standard off-the-shelf frames from stores like Michaels, Target, or Ikea typically fit the following sizes offered under "Print Only" options:
- without a mat: 6x4, 18x12, 24x16, 28x20, 30x20, 36x24 inches.
- with a pre-cut mat: 18x12 (fits 24x18 frame), 24x16 (fits 30x20 or 36x24 frames), 28x20 (fits 36x24 frame).

Framed Prints:
Framed photographs are Giclée printed on premium quality 200gsm enhanced matte art paper using archival, non-fading inks. This museum-grade paper has a smooth, clean finish and ensures the print retains its fine details, vibrant colors, and rich textures for decades without fading.
Matting & Frame Details
• Frame Material: The frame is handcrafted from sustainably sourced hardwood and comes in a choice of five color options: Black, White, Natural Wood, Silver, or Gold. The frame will be ready to hang.
• Matted Frames: The matted option includes a 2-inch (5cm) white mat that enhances the visual appeal of the photograph, reminiscent of a gallery display. The photo itself will be printed 4 inches smaller than the frame size (e.g., a 30x40" matted frame will have a 26x36" photograph).
• No-Mat Frames: In the no-mat option, the photograph fills the entire frame, providing a sleek, bold, and contemporary look.
• Glazing (the “glass” of the frame): The frames come with durable, shatterproof, UV-resistant Perspex acrylic glazing that offers the clarity of glass but without the risk of breakage or glare, making it perfect for protecting your print from harmful light while remaining lightweight and transportable.
Custom orders can be accommodated for additional frame colors and materials, or an anti-reflective acrylic glaze for a no-glass effect.

We use local printers to reduce carbon emissions and shipping costs. The printer will usually use traditional sizes commonly available in your region (inches in the USA, centimeters where the metric system is standard). This can sometimes result in slight variations between inch and centimeter measurements.
