THE CRAFTING JOURNEY

These stunning briolette drop earrings, handcrafted in my Northumberland studio, are a gorgeous combination of semi-precious stones and mixed metals, faceted and polished to catch the light.

The gemstone ‘drop’ is a timeless shape that stone cutters have favoured for centuries. Here, I weave tiny fine metal beads to the tip of the teardrop to accent the stone and speak to the artisan detailing that truly cannot be found on the high street.

Occurring in virtually every colour, quartz has been honoured and worshipped through the ages and worn as an amulet to ensure good luck and health.
