Original Handmade Katana, each samurai sword is carefully forged from the original embryo to the finished product. (Polished, quenched, tempered, hand polished and more than 20 processes). Handmade, each katana will have a slight error, which is normal.

Protective OilDon't worry if your sword looks a little dirty when you receive it. This is just a thin layer of protective oil applied upon completion. Remove the excess oil by gently wiping the blade with a soft cloth. For routine maintenance, see the Sword Maintenance Guide. Wood shavings in the scabbard It is normal to find small wood shavings inside the scabbard. Since the sheath is made of wood, pulling on the blade may bring out fine wood shavings. They will diminish over time. We recommend cleaning the blade after each use. Usually after a few pulls, the wood shavings will shrink naturally and are nothing to worry about.
