The basket is beautiful and I'm very pleased with it. However, the packaging that it arrived in was simply horrendous. It was merely wrapped in brown paper and the top was wide open with just clear tape crisscrossing it. The lid was pushed down inside. Even the mailman remarked that he was amazed that the basket wasn't wrecked considering the packaging. Who knows what things it was exposed to? This basket had to cross continents, so it should've been protected by a box and secure packaging. Future buyers, be aware of this.
