Not all walls are the same. Here’s how to tell what you’re working with:
1) Smooth walls:
Ideal for peel and stick. Just clean and prime, and you’re ready to go.
2) Lightly textured walls (usually fine with peel and stick):
Orange Peel
Spray Sand
Light Knockdown
3) Heavily textured walls (may need extra prep):
Deep Knockdown
Popcorn
Skip Trowel
Crows Feet / Slap Brush
And other heavy relief patterns

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝑫𝒐 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒚 𝑻𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆
If your wall has a strong texture, you may need to smooth it out for best results:
Option 1: Apply a skim coat to level the surface
Option 2: Use a wallpaper liner to create a flat base without altering the original wall

𝐏𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭
☀ If you have Low-VOC / Zero-VOC paint or Teflon™-based or stain-resistant (easy-clean) wall paint, please prime your wall to create a sealed, adhesive-friendly surface to help the wallpaper stick properly and stay in place over time.
☀ If you have freshly painted walls, wait at least 30 days before applying peel and stick wallpaper to allow the paint to fully cure and prevent adhesion issues or damage during removal.
