This miniature black book is handmade using vintage and reclaimed materials.
The beautifully soft worn, fine grained leather cover, is from one of my Dad's old wallets.
Unwind the leather thong and inside the front and back covers have vintage ditsy floral fabric. The deckled edge pages are hand stained to varying depths with tea. The book includes nine hand torn vintage book illustrations of birds (not photo copies) and 60 plain pages, 120 if counting both sides. The paper I have used are remnants left over from printing postage labels. The page sections are hand sewn with modern waxed linen thread.
This one of a kind vintage inspired book, is full of character and measures just 4 by 3.5 x 1.2cms. An ideal size to keep in your pocket, at hand for your notes, ideas or drawings.
This little book will arrive gift wrapped and carefully packaged.
I've used the fountain pen to hold open the pages whilst photographing and is not included in this sale.
