Are your designs good for needlepoint beginners?

Yes! I supply printed or hand-painted canvases with all my kits -- it's like paint-by-numbers except with wool – so they are great for beginners. The designs are simple, clear and don’t use a ton of colors so they are easier to stitch and don’t take forever to finish!

How long does it take to ship an order?

My usual processing time is 1-2 weeksfor most of the listings. Custom orders may take longer. Please check the ‘ready to ship’ date found near bottom of each individual listing. Contact me for a more precise ship date.

Are orders tracked when shipped?

All orders to the United States and Canada are tracked. Some international orders are tracked. If you would like to confirm if your international order will be tracked, please contact me and I will let you know.

Will I need to pay custom or duty taxes when receiving my package?

My shop is located in Canada. All shipments to the United States are duty free if valued under $800. All packages shipped internationally may be subject to that country's duty, VAT and custom fees policy.

**This is a DIY kit to stitch up yourself** Stitch up a customized needlepoint project with a personlized fun quote from a loved one, a family motto, favorite lyric, popular saying or with any text of your choice. A bright colored border frames the piece.

This is a do-it-yourself kit which includes a handpainted canvas, 100% wool fibers, needle, threader and stitching instructions. Pillow finishing materials are optional (choose in drop down menu) and includes grey velvet backing fabric and matching cording.

There are two options for this listing. Prices are shown in drop down list at checkout:

1) HANDPAINTED "CANVAS & WOOL" OPTION:

• Border and chosen text painted onto 12 hpi interlock canvas.

• Wool: I supply generous amounts of Appleton 4 ply tapestry 100% wool. Spun and dyed in Buckinghamshire, England, Appleton has been producing high quality wool for 180 years. I love the durability and the shades of Appleton and nothing beats the look and feel of 100% wool. Tapestry wool does not need to be split - you just thread and stitch, it covers the canvas perfectly and provides very even tension;

• Pattern: Colour symbol chart.

• Instructions with enough detail to get a beginner up and running. Includes clear and simple diagrams on how to work the very simple tent stitch, which is a single sloping stitch and is used for the entire design.

• And lastly, a size 20 tapestry needle plus threader (makes threading wool through the needle a breeze).

2) "PILLOW KIT" option includes:

• ALL OF THE ABOVE plus:

• Grey velvet fabric to match your color selection;

• Matching velvet piping which is custom made using same material as backing fabric;

• Detailed photo instructions on how to finish as a pillow with piping using hand-sewing (no sewing machine necessary). You need basic hand-sewing skills to finish into a pillow.

Approximately 45 characters is the limit for font size shown in photos. If you have a longer phrase, please contact me and I will see what I can do.

Contact me if you want to substitute any of the colors in the border or text (no extra cost).

Use a favourite quote, lyric or saying. Some ideas include:

**The Best Parents Get Promoted to Grandparents**
**I Am Not Needy. I Am Wanty.**
**Too Much of a Good Thing Is Wonderful**
**I Never Repeat Gossip, So Listen Carefully**
**I Keep In Touch By Liking Posts**
**Why Go Big When You Can Go Home**
