Are these earrings really made of paper?

Yes. All earrings are handmade from paper using traditional origami techniques. However, the paper is carefully reinforced and sealed to make it durable and suitable for everyday wear.

Are paper earrings durable?

Yes. After folding, the paper is strengthened with a high-quality decoupage adhesive and sealed with a premium, transparent glossy UV resin. As a result, the earrings are transformed into a durable, glass-like finish while remaining featherlight.

What materials are used?

The earrings are made from paper, gouache paint, high-quality decoupage adhesive, protective sealing varnish, and a premium high-gloss UV resin. The ear hooks are made of high-quality 304 stainless steel.

Are the earring hooks suitable for sensitive ears?

The earrings use 304 stainless steel hooks, which are highly known for their durability and skin-friendly properties, making them completely safe for sensitive ears.

Are the earrings waterproof?

The advanced UV resin coating provides excellent moisture protection against everyday elements like rain or humidity. However, to preserve the premium finish and paper integrity, submerging them during swimming or showering is still not recommended.

How should I care for my origami earrings?

To keep the earrings in pristine condition, avoid direct exposure to harsh chemicals, perfumes, or heavy lotions. Storing them in a dry place when not in use helps maintain the shine of the metal elements.

Where are the earrings designed and made?

All earrings are designed and handmade in Berlin.
