This exquisite antique locket was crafted around 1880. Crafted with care and attention to detail, it features an engine turned guilloche background with an intricately applied scroll design. The interior holds a unique beveled glass partition, typical for French lockets and rare to find elsewhere. Crafted from solid 18k gold and hallmarked with two eagle heads on the inside rim, this remarkable piece weighs a substantial 12.8 grams, a testament to its craftsmanship and enduring value. CONDITION NOTES:
In excellent antique condition with light wear consistent with age. The locket closes securely and the hinges are strong. The locket is engraved on the back with the initials A.R. and has one scratch next to the closure, visible in photos and videos.
