Do you offer custom or personalized orders?

Absolutely! We are more than happy to create a custom or personalized order for you. Please contact us with details about your product needs and we'll be happy to discuss how we can assist you with your custom or personalized order.

Can you send me a proof of my design before I order?

No, we only offer proofs on paid orders. Once you place your order you will receive a mock-up of your custom design and you will be able to request changes to your design before we create your tags. However, if you would like for us to take a look at your logo to make sure it will engrave well before you order we are more than happy to do so. Just sent us a message here on Etsy with a copy of your logo.

Do you offer custom size tags?

Yes! We are happy to work with you to create custom sized tags. Please send us a message with your requested size and we will respond to you with a price quote within 1-2 days of receiving your message.

How will I receive my custom design proof?

We provide a custom design mock-up for every order. You will receive an initial order email within 24 hours of your order, followed by a custom mock-up for your order via Etsy Messenger. Please check your Etsy messages accordingly! We highly suggest you create an Etsy account if you don't already have one, as it is more difficult to reach you if you checkout as a guest. If you do checkout as a guest we will email your proof directly to you at the email address on your order. PROOFS MUST BE APPROVED PRIOR TO CREATING YOUR ORDER; PROOFS THAT ARE NOT APPROVED WILL BE CANCELED.

Can I provide my own logo for my custom tag design?

Absolutely! Once you have placed your order, please email your logo to to either via Etsy messenger or by email at info@nightowllaser.com. Please send a clear, black and white line art logo. Colored and gradient style images will not engrave well. Preferred file formats are the following : .jpg, .png, .svg, or .pdf format. If you would like us to review your logo to confirm that it will engrave well on our tags, please message us and attach your logo. We will respond within 1-2 business days.

When will my order ship?

We try our best to ship all orders out within the estimated shipping window provided by Etsy. During the peak holiday season our production and shipping times may be extended. Please note that your order will not be created until your approve your proof. Therefore, please allow a minimum of 3-5 business days FROM THE DATE YOU APPROVE YOUR DESIGN. The provided ship date is for our PRODUCTION TIME ONLY. Please add 3-5 business days for delivery for 1st class packages and 2-3 business days for Priority Mail packages. For our Canadian and International customers please allow 2-3 weeks on average for 1st Class International shipping.

How many emails should I expect after I place my order?

Here at Night Owl Laser we pride ourselves on effective communication. You will receive an initial order email explaining the production process and to inquire for any additional details you may not have left with your order. Next you will an email with your order proof. Once your proof is approved we will start creating your order. You will then receive another email letting your know that your order is completed and when it will be shipping out. Finally we follow up with every customer that leaves a review with a thank you email. As always we strive to provide great customer support and answer every email within 24 hours.

What information do I need to leave for my custom order?

Please see the How to place my order section in the listing description of each individual listing. We will need the following information in order to create your custom tags 1. Layout 2. Font Choice (if applicable) 3. Icon Choice (if applicable) 4. Custom Text (if applicable) 5. Your custom logo (if applicable) Please note we will not be able to send you a mock-up without all of this information at the time of your order so please leave all applicable information in the personalization box.

Will my tags smell like smoke?

No! We strive to ensure our tags do not smell like smoke upon arrival. Our leatherette tags are laser engraved using industry standard CO2 lasers. Due to the engraving and cutting process the engraved material can smell smokey and can leave behind a sooty residue. Unlike our competitors we go the extra mile and hand wash and dry each and every tag and patch that we send out to our customers. Ensuring that you will not be adding smoke scented or sooty tags to your precious handmade creations.

Are your tags Washable?

Yes. Made to withstand everyday wear and tear, our durable leatherette tags are washable, making them ideal for clothing, accessories, and other fabric-based creations. Though our tags can be machine washed, we highly suggest hand washing and lying your projects flat to dry.
