I really love it. I am amazed at how old it is and wonder it feels to hold. the bowl is dense yet picking it up feels so balanced. It has a couple scratches but otherwise flawless. The drawers are wonderful. I've been looking for something to use as part of my daily routine but it's so beautiful I'm afraid to use it now. I will make sure to use this Tabako bon with the upmost respect. Thanks again:)

I am now the proud owner of a genuine Tetsubin cast iron kettle. Beautiful and well made. Not sure how old it is or its history. It was well packaged for the long journey from Japan to the UK and it took only 2 weeks. It is even better looking than in the photos. I can see why these kettles are passed down through generations, there is something magical about them. Rather expensive but buying a new one is even more costly and a very long waiting list. I wanted an old one because it has lots of character. Thank you TA for this wonderful purchase.
