Upgraded Manual Transmission Shift Boot Bezel Fits Jeep XJ, MJ, and TJ 1984-2004

This is an upgraded transmission shifter boot bezel for the 1984-1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ, 1986-1992 Jeep Comanche MJ, and 1997-2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ with a manual transmission.  Replaces OEM part numbers 18886.94 and 53000056.  This bezel is more flexible than the originals to eliminate the cracking and broken tab issue the injection molded versions have.  It is much easier to install and remove than the original as well.  Several areas of the bezel have been beefed up to make the part much stronger overall.  The boot is NOT included, this is just the bezel that holds the boot on.

INSTALLATION:

1.  Unscrew the shifter knob and remove.

2.  Remove the original boot and bezel by inserting a small flat head screwdriver at the back of the shifter between the boot and console insert and prying up lightly.  Then pull it up over the shifter.  (SEE IMAGES FOR AN EXAMPLE)

3.  Peel the original boot off of the old bezel and stretch the original boot over the new bezel.

4.  Reinstall the boot and bezel and press down into the console trim to snap it into place and reinstall the shifter knob.

If it ever needs removed, simply use a flat head screwdriver at the back of the shifter bezel as mentioned in step 2.



***DISCLAIMER***

- These are printed in black PETG plastic.  This plastic has natural UV resistance so the color won't fade over time and won't get brittle.  This plastic can start to get soft at temperatures of 190*F.  Even in extreme environments this shouldn't be an issue.  PETG parts have been used on vehicles for long periods of time without ill effects.

- This is a 3D printed part, this means not all parts will appear or fit exactly the same.  We do not accept returns due to it being made to order, however If you have an issue with your part, please contact me and we can work out the issue together.

- If you break it due to not following instructions, over-tightening screws, or through use, you can fix it with some super glue or you can message me to purchase a replacement part.

- This is a made to order part.  We print and ship as soon as possible, please allow ample time for me to process and ship.

- Shipping damage must be reported within 3 days of receiving the item.  After this time a return/refund will not be accepted nor will a replacement part be sent out due to shipping damage.
