Designed for resin to bring out fine details, but also suitable for quality FDM prints.

🎨 **How to fit & scale:**
This template was designed and modelled on our Papillion's - Pip and Bindi, who would be classed as a small dogs.
The files can be scaled for most dogs if the sizing is done correctly. I recommend oversizing and padding with appropriate soft material to fit the dog snuggly. We used hot glue to hold a collar at the rear of the helmet to hold the helmet in place (not included)
There is a test file of a slice of the helmet for estimating the size for your dog.
The file called TEST SLICE, is a slice across the helmet just in front of the ears. Measure your dog here, then increase the scale of the helmet file in your slicer program until you have that size. Do a test print and try it on your dog. These prints are only minutes. It is designed as a quick print to fit to your dog and calculate the scaling you require. Take note of the scale that you are happy with and then scale the main helmet file by the same amount.
Better to go a little larger and use some form of padding then print to tight. I highly recommend printing as many as needed and testing before committing to a long print.
This is where I measured my dog, it is the widest part of her head and therefore of the helmet.
Better to go slightly larger and pad inside for comfort.
I recommend multiple quick test prints before committing to a long print.

We use hot glue to attach a dog collar to the back (not included) to keep it snug.
