When will my item be ready? When will it ship? How will it ship? When can I expect it? Can I change my shipping address? Can I Venmo you more money for faster production/shipping?

Items will ship on the "Ready to ship by" date provided when order is placed. Item should be expected by the last "estimated" day of delivery provided by Etsy/USPS. Delivery delays do happen - please plan accordingly. Each round of changes, extra time needed for approval, or a qty of more than 1 listing will add 1 or more days to production; ship by date will be adjusted. To update address/shipping speed, please request a cancellation and repurchase the item with correct info. For customized orders, your first order will be canceled only after a new order is placed. When delivery price/speed is better with UPS, I may use UPS instead of USPS. I do not offer Fedex. I do not accept any outside payments for faster production/shipping.

What is included in my order? I have lots of questions, can you message me details?

Each listing comes with a description of what is included. Please inquire for a quantity not listed. Extras are not included- an image to be added to a scroll, a gift box, a brooch if not part of the listing, longer paper, a customized design etc. Each customizable listing includes a digital proof w/ one/two round(s) of changes, unless otherwise stated. Any additional rounds of edits would cost extra. I am happy to answer questions not covered in my listing descriptions and FAQs. As a one person shop, I strive to provide all necessary information in my listing details. Please read before asking. I can either offer a reasonable price, or answer large numbers of messages about details addressed in my descriptions/FAQs. I cannot do both.

I have a poem/lyrics/TV script/Bible scripture/Celtic blessing/wording I did not personally write, can you print it on a scroll? Can you add my logo or an image I will send/request you to provide?

The custom printed scrolls I sell are for your personal messages only. It is against the law to commercially print copyright protected material without owner's permission. My scrolls are not priced to include researching whether wording sent is in the public domain, has expired copyright, active copyright, or fair use, such as song lyrics, film scripts, poems, published text, "Celtic blessing", prayer, Bible scripture, induction ceremony or any other text written by someone else. I do not offer to customize my existing listings with additional artwork.

I must have the item by a certain date, will you guarantee I will have it for my event?

As I am not responsible for late purchases, extra rounds of edits, delays in communication, observed holidays, slow shipping speed purchased, or any delivery delays, I do not offer any guarantees. Please make sure the LAST estimated day of delivery provided by Etsy/USPS when the item is in your cart, with your zip, (+ couple days for any delivery delays), meets your deadline BEFORE placing the order. Rush production or shipping upgrades after an order is placed are not offered. I do have a limited number of quicker production listings in the "Rush" section, availability subject to current production schedule. USPS Ground AND USPS Priority is offered with every listing. Fedex/UPS Next Day Air/USPS Express are specifically not offered.

How can I customize my order?

Please follow customization instructions in description. Retyping handwritten text, completing info, proofreading, removing extra words/spaces/tabs, changing all caps to lower case is not provided. It is up to the buyer to submit final and complete wording as text I can directly copy/paste. I only format the wording as submitted -size text to fit, align it, and apply color/font styles. All customization info including font/color choices should be separate from wording to be printed, and submitted in a single Message. Formatting considerably more complex than the sample pictured is not included in pricing. Attachments will not be opened. I will not print obscenity, racist, discriminatory or derogatory messages.

Can I return an item for full refund?

Customized items are non-returnable/non-refundable. Not accepting delivery/having an item returned to sender is considered an unauthorized return - no refund will be issued. If you are not around for delivery or have issues with delivery please contact your local USPS/UPS before contacting me. If wrong address was used please try to "intercept" while en route. Once it is returned, expect to pay to reship.

Can you create a special listing for me if you do not have the quantity I need listed? Can you create a custom design for me?

I'd be happy to set-up a custom listing for a quantity I do not have listed. Invitations have a minimum of 10 except if stated otherwise. Invitation sets are sold in increments of 5. A listing created just for you will be listed for a few days after your request, after which it will be deactivated - please only request the listing if you are ready to order within a couple of days. Estimates provided for quantity pricing will be guaranteed for 1 month only, after which they are subject to price changes and/or availability of materials. Once an order is placed, it cannot be held for more than 2 weeks beyond scheduled ship by date. I do not offer custom designs at this time. I only offer the designs I have currently listed.

My customization info changed/it arrived damaged, can I return it for a full refund?

Custom made items are non-returnable and non-refundable. If your wording must be changed please do so before layout is approved by you. Once the layout is approved, it is not possible to change the wording or cancel production. If no approval is provided/there is no communication, your order will be shipped with the layout as sent to you for approval. Refund will not be offered. If the item arrives visibly damaged, I will submit a complaint with USPS for a refund. Your item will be remade if I make a mistake - please let me know right away so I can correct it promptly.

I want you to add a notecard from me/ add custom wording to the scrolls sold as blanks/add different wording to one of the invitations in the set/ customize the scroll that states up to 2 pages only with text that is 3 pages long.

Please feel free to add a gift message to the order when placing it. Gift wrapping is also offered for an additional fee. My listings are priced to include what is detailed in the description. If you do need something different, please ask before placing the order, so I can consider your request, point you to a different listing, or set up a new listing accordingly.

Can I place an order for a set of invitations totaling over $250?

Because Etsy has changed its policies on protecting sellers with orders totaling above $250, regardless if it is a delivery delay due to shipper, customer providing wrong address, item arriving damaged, or any other issues that are clearly not the seller's fault, I no longer offer the option to place orders that would total over $250, with shipping and taxes added (Etsy collects taxes, but it still counts towards total). If you need more than what I have listed, please contact me to renew the listing, and place multiple orders. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please contact Etsy on this policy. Items valued at more than $200 will be sent with Signature confirmation.

Included:
Handmade scroll with gold wooden finials, custom printed with your wording. Scroll will be tied with a satin ribbon. Includes a box. Overall width of scroll is about 7.75". Unassembled scroll paper measures 5x17 inches. Assembled scroll paper measures 5" wide by up to 12" long and will accommodate about 1,200 - 1,500 characters depending on spacing and font style, or about half a page of a letter size document.

Options:
- Blank - no text. For handwriting your own wording.
- Blank - unassembled. For printing your own wording. Includes 2 sheets of blank paper and one set of dowels/finials to make the scroll.
- Custom - your text: please purchase only if you can legally claim authorship for the entire wording.

Copyright Issues
It is against the law to commercially reproduce copyright protected wording without legal permission. The scrolls I sell are strictly for wording authored by person placing the order. Any wording from a religious text, film scripts, song lyrics, poems, induction ceremonies, or any other wording published/authored/written by an entity other than the person placing the order, whether copyright protected, possibly copyright protected or even in public domain, will not be printed. My scrolls are NOT priced for the legal research needed to establish otherwise- please do not purchase.

Customization
To customize, add your final, complete and proofread wording to the personalization text box or Notes to seller. Text only, no emojis, images, logos. If your wording is longer than text box size, send it as text in Etsy Message- attachments will not be opened. Once a custom layout is provided, the scroll can only be exchanged for a blank scroll. For wording layout more complex than pictured (individually bolded words/letters, bullet points etc), contact me first for an additional customization charge.

A digital layout will be sent to you in Etsy Messaging. Please reply within 24 hrs with your approval or changes. Listing includes one round of edits to initial layout, and may take 1 extra business day. For any changes to wording, please resubmit complete, final edited wording. If no approval/changes are received within 24 hrs, we will proceed with production based on layout already sent.

I do not proofread, edit, remove/add spacing or delete instructions within wording. I only format the text to fit the design, using the font style and/or color you specify. Please send ALL customization instructions when the order is placed.

Pricing is for an item similar to sample pictured.

Once layout is provided, cancellations or refunds are not offered.

Production: "Ready to ship by date" reflects time needed for layout and production. Time needed for changes/approval & shipping is additional. 1 round of edits are included in price, 1 b. day for each round. Any additional rounds of edits will be $5 each round - a listing will be sent for you to purchase. "Ship by date" will be updated as needed once layout is approved, and if more than a quantity of 5 scrolls are ordered.

Custom handmade to order in a small studio in VT from domestic or imported materials. Customized scrolls are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Etsy's Buyer/Seller Policy extends to purchases under $250 only - please place separate orders ($250 total includes price of listing, shipping and any applicable sales tax) . As a small seller I must have all orders under Etsy's Buyer/Seller protection plan and will need to cancel orders where total is more than $250.

As the title states, "Custom Message Scroll with Gold Accents, 5x12" paper, black gift box", the paper for this scroll was 5x12 inches. The description states: "Overall size of scroll rolled up is about 7.75x1.5x0.75". Box measures about 2x8x1". Aged look paper measures 5" wide by up to 12" long". Not sure what would be considered "small" or a "medium" sized scroll, but that is not what this listing says this scroll will be. The listing states exactly what the paper size will be, for customer to use a ruler and decide whether that is too small, too large, or just right for their needs.
