Vintage Rushton Star Creation Bassett Hound RARE

For your consideration this darling vintage Rushton Star Creation Bassett Hound doggie. This fellow has the sweetest eyes that will melt your heart! Super hard to find especially in this condition. Nice vibrant face coloring with a little paint wear on his nose. His cocoa and off-white fur is nice and soft with no holes or tears. He has felt like material on the bottoms of his feet. There is a little discoloration on the inner ear lining. Possibly from a bath some time in life. He has what feels like posing wire in his front legs for repositioning. I did not attempt to bend them due to his age. Plus, I think he looks terrific in this position. Slight wear of fur where the fur meets the face. There is a small spot of manufacturing adhesive or vinyl at top of his face, as seen in pictures. It may be able to be removed but not too noticeable. This doggie originally came with a red and white plastic collar and leash. He has lost them during his life, so he now sports a red bow, which suits him fine. Still has his tag attached noting Rushton Star Creation. He measures close to 12 inches tall and measures about 11 inches across at the widest point. In fabulous vintage condition and very rare. A perfect selection for your collection. He is looking for his forever home!
