This listing is for a single, handmade 400ml ceramic matcha bowl in our Stripe glaze design, with the option to add a ceramic matcha whisk holder to complete your set. Giftbox option is also available which includes matcha bowl, whisk holder and bamboo matcha whisk. Each bowl & holder is unique and will have different markings within the glaze which are to be embraced.

Care

Ceramics are fired to 1260 degrees and therefore are suitable to be microwaved or washed in a dishwasher.

How it is made

All ceramics is handmade in my pottery studio in Berkshire, UK. The pottery is made in small batches of around 30 pieces and if carefully formed over a two day period. After the pieces have dried for a week, they are then fired to 1000 degrees Celsius in my kiln. I then mix my glazes from powders before dipping and pouring the ceramics to create beautiful glaze patterns. The ceramics is then fired again to 1260 degrees Celsius.
