What is DTF Transfer? Direct to Film (DTF) transfer is the process of transferring your designs onto a special film and transferring them onto fabric with heat and pressure. This method can be applied to many surfaces such as cotton, polyester and blended fabrics. DTF prints offer bright colors, detailed patterns and high durability. Your products can be used for a long time without fading or wearing out, making DTF an ideal solution in areas where fashion and personal style are prominent.

Steps to Print with DTF Transfer Film at Home
Materials Required:
* DTF transfer film (with ready-made image)
* Clothing (cotton, polyester or blended fabric)
* Heat press or iron
* Protective Teflon or parchment paper
1. Prepare the Clothing:
* Place the clothing on a flat surface and make sure the area to be transferred is wrinkle-free.
* Lightly iron the clothing with an iron to flatten the surface.
2. Place the Transfer Film:
* Place the DTF transfer film on the area to be printed, with the image side facing up.
* Make sure to position it flat and correctly so that the film does not slip.
3. Print Using a Heat Press or Iron:
* If you are using a heat press:
* Set the heat press to 160-170°C.
* Turn off the press and press for 15-20 seconds.
* If you are using an iron:
* Set the iron to the maximum temperature (cotton setting).
* Place the iron over the print, pressing it down and moving it over the entire area for 15-20 seconds. Be sure to apply constant pressure.

4. Cooling and Removing the Film:

* After the garment has been removed from the print, wait a few minutes for it to cool.

* Once the film has completely cooled, gently lift it from the corner and remove it.

5. Final Check and Fix:

* If necessary, you can go over the design again with a light heat press or iron.

* Applying light pressure for 5-10 seconds will be sufficient.

After Printing Care:

* Let the garment sit for at least 24 hours before the first wash.

* Wash the garment inside out and dry at low temperature.

* Avoid high temperature washing for a long-lasting print.
