Prints on standard size office paper.
Some pattern pieces may need to be joined before cutting fabric. All pieces are clearly marked.
Sized to an AG doll measuring 11" at the chest and 10 3/8" at the waist.

The pattern also includes directions for the option of making the outfit as three separate items: bodice, blouse and skirt.

This pattern has a blouse which is embroidered on the sleeves, at the center front, and around the collar. I used my machine with straight and zig-zag stitching. If you have a wonderful machine with many decorative options you could certainly use any stitches to create your own design.
The cuffs have a roll hem.
There are two stand up collars at the neckline.

The black bodice has been hand embroidered, but could be done on a machine with embroidering capabilities. It is lined and the edges are finished with bias cut trim of gold. We have hand sewn our trim but this may also be done on your machine.

The skirt is designed with 4 pleats: one over each of the legs at both the front and back.

There is optional trim for the lower skirt designed with scalloping. We have included the embroidery design that sits just above the scalloping on the skirt shown in the movie. This will be highly time consuming without an embroidery machine but beautiful for those wishing to copy the original skirt.

The skirt joins the bodice and blouse at the waist for a one piece dress. It closes at the center back with hook and loop fastener.
