Children are naturally drawn to music, rhythm, melody, and repetition speak to their whole being. Music is processed in both the emotional and memory centers of the brain, making it a powerful tool for learning and regulating behavior (Zatorre et al., 2007; Juslin & Sloboda, 2001).

- Print the cards on cardstock for sturdiness. You can laminate them for extra durability.

- Use a binder ring or string them with yarn to create a portable flipbook.

- Keep them nearby, on a shelf, in your morning basket, or on-the-go, to help you remember the songs throughout the day.

- These cards can be used at home, in classrooms, during circle time, or anywhere rhythm and transitions are part of your day.
