Very distinctive boudoir robe, late 19th century.
Made of fine cotton, decorated with lace and ruffles.

Robes of this kind were worn by the lady of the house in the early morning - often casually pulled over the sleeping shirt. She was still in her boudoir - at most accompanied by her chambermaid.
Fastens at the front with small buttons.
The condition is very good for its age, I think it has not been used. The ruffle at the hem needs to be sewn on, and there are tiny holes at the back. Please see the photos, they reflect everything.
