Highlights
Exquisite craftsmanship is evident in this unique collapsible basket featuring hand carved dolphin handles and inlaid mother of pearl in the basket. The interior is made from one piece of wood cut into a a spiral forming a collapsible basket. It sits flat when not in use making a decorative trivet, and expands into a basket when the outer handle is lifted. This flexible design also allows the piece to collapse to a 1.5 inch depth for easy storage when not in use. It is in perfect condition, the tag indicates it was made in Austrialia. When extended it is is 11" (28 cm) tall and is 15.5" (40 cm) wide.
