Do you accept layaway payments?

We do not offer layaway however, Etsy does offer Klarna making it possible to purchase an item with installment payments. You will see this option (Klarna) at checkout.

Our packaging is done with care and creativity. Every item from our shop is wrapped with great care and looks beautiful in our signature boxes and wrapping.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.

Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?

We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.

What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?

We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.

Can I purchase an item for a prop for photos, and then get a return/refund for it?

We offer customers vintage items from the past to be worn and enjoyed themselves. We cannot accept a new order when a prior item(s) has been used as a prop(s) and then returned for a refund. It will be cancelled and refunded.

Description:
Adorable, tiny and dainty classic vintage gold filled heart shaped locket necklace for a baby or child. The sweet and feminine piece has a gold heart with an etched pinstripe and shield design on the front. The back of the locket is plain with no design.

The interior of the locket is completely empty and can hold two tiny circle shaped photos (one on each side).

NOTE:
This gold filled locket is a La Mode piece. La Mode was a trademark used by Ripley and Gowan of Attleboro, Mass. The company’s history dates back to the 1880s. Ripley and Gowan filed for use of “La Mode” as a trademark in 1924. The company used the trademark for both women’s and men’s jewelry.

The locket is attached to a vintage 12K GF chain which closes with a spring ring clasp. The spring ring open and closes securely. The chain is short - 13'' length which is baby or child's length. The last photo above shows a 2.5 year old wearing it for reference.

Beautiful piece of mid century jewelry - a perfectly sweet gift for a young lady or someone who loves pretty little things.
