Morning Majesty is a spectacular sunrise image of a classic view in the Smoky Mountains. The brilliant morning sun is scattering through a lens flare, and there is a blue haze lingering in the deep valley, contrasting nicely with the gold and orange of the sunrise above.

There are just a few classic locations for a sunrise photo in the Smokies. The Oconaluftee Overlook just south of Newfound Gap looks east toward the North Carolina mountains. There is a deep valley directly in front of the overlook, and a long series of ridges to get that classic Smoky Mountains look.

All prints are hand signed by the photographer. Smaller prints are unmatted and shipped flat. Prints 12x18" and larger are unmatted and shipped in a tube, ready for matting and framing.
