The second listing photo is the solid blackberry background. The acid washed will automatically be sent to you unless you specify that you want the solid background in the notes to seller at checkout. The octopus is taken from an engraving done during a natural history expedition initiated by Napoleon Bonaparte, digitally enhanced and placed on a richly colored background.
Many people refer to this type of print as a Lord Bodner or a Lord Ballantine octopus. If you research for a Lord Bodner or a Lord Ballantine, you will find they are both myths. Lord Bodner and Lord Ballantine are in existence strictly for marketing purposes. The true story behind this octopus is truly fascinating. The print is from a scientific engraving that was created during a scientific expedition that was part of Napoleon's campaign in Egypt. If you would like more information about that, here is a link:

There is no right or wrong orientation for the octopus. If you would prefer to have your octopus reversed so the curly tentacles face the left, message me and I will do that.
Please look at the third and fourth photos for colors you can have this print made in. You can choose any one you want for the foreground or the background - just let me know the name of the color, if it is solid or acid washed and which color you want for the octopus and which you want for the background. You can give me this information in the notes to seller that you will be able to leave during checkout. This print will arrive to you in the colors shown in the listing photos if differing colors aren't selected.
