Behind The Scene: "Live Oak Tunnel"

Is there anything more romantic than a row of live oak trees covered in Spanish moss? Just south of Savannah, on the Isle of Hope, is the Wormsloe Plantation site, with a 1.5 mile long row of those beautiful and eerie trees. The plantation was established in 1737, long before we were even a nation. The house is nothing more than ruin now, but the oaks still thrive. Wormsloe is the only standing architectural remnant in Savannah from the founding of Georgia.

** ABOUT CANVAS PRINTS - GALLERY WRAPS and FRAMED CANVAS **

My chosen lab uses only the best museum quality canvas and professional grade, archival inks. The canvas has a built-in coating which makes it moisture and UV protected, and abrasion resistant. Tested by Wilhelm Research, the lightfast, archival inks are designed to last for decades when kept away from direct sunlight.

GICLEE CANVAS GALLERY WRAP - This is a frameless presentation and arrives ready to hang. A gallery wrap is a method of stretching the canvas artwork so that it wraps around the sides of a 1.5" stretcher bar, and is secured to the back of the wooden frame. Canvas Wraps 36" and smaller (on the longest side) will have a thinner wrap.
Mirrored Sides - the outer edge of the image is mirrored on the wrap sides.

GICLEE CANVAS GALLERY WRAP IN A FLOATER FRAME - Your image is stretched on a 3/4" Gallery Wrap, then expertly mounted in a custom 1.5" deep Floater Frame. The canvas appears to “float” inside the frame – with the wrapped edges visible in the gap between the canvas and the frame (see listing photo example).

Take your pick of frame colors – Solid Black, Solid White, or Espresso (dark brown) with an etched wood grain effect. The size you choose will be the outside dimensions of the frame. Your canvas will be sized to fit.
