Do you do commissions or custom work?

I'm sorry, but my schedule doesn't allow time for me to take commissions or custom projects. I am happy to take suggestions, but I cannot guarantee what you're looking for is something I will end up making.

When will my order ship?

Each listing displays the date range when I expect to ship your item: ready-to-ship or made-to-order. All shipments include a tracking number. Ready-to-ship items (decals, mesh fabric, prints, etc.) ship within 3 business days*. In most cases, I ship them the next business day*. Made-to-order items include all unpainted blank resin pieces, such as masks, claws, etc. When you place an order, they are added to my production queue in the order they're received. The turnaround time is 1-2 weeks. I will also send you a message via Etsy within 1 business day* to let you know the exact date I intend to ship your order. Please double-check your messages if you're checking on the status of an order! *Mon-Sat, not including USPS postal holidays.

What happens if my order says "Delivered" but I didn't receive it?

When a package doesn't arrive, the first thing you should do is verify that the shipping address on your order was correct and that USPS can deliver to that address. Please note that I cannot be responsible for replacements if the shipping information I was given was incorrect. You might also want to check with neighbors, if possible, to see if it was mis-delivered. I typically like to give packages a couple days to see if they arrive, either by a neighbor delivering them or the postal worker may have marked them 'delivered' but wasn't actually able to complete the delivery that day. (That does happen sometimes!) If your address was correct and you cannot find the package, please contact me for further assistance!

What kind of paints and glues work well with your blank masks and props?

Why are only some cast items available in black?

To be able to cast in black, I need to make a special kind of mold that allows me to cast it in a pressure pot. Unfortunately, not every piece is able to be turned into this kind of mold.

Can you cast resin pieces in other colors?

All of our cast resin pieces are available in white, and certain pieces are now available in black. I don't have the setup to do other colors at this time.

Will you attach a strap to a mask blank for me?

It's best to paint your mask prior to attaching the strap, so I don't offer them with the straps already installed. The strap just gets in the way during the painting process, especially priming. Can I attach horns (or other items) with spirit gum?

My cast resin horns, fangs, and other such items are meant as embellishments for props or masks, and weren't made with the intention to be attached directly to skin as a prosthetic. It may be possible to apply some of the lighter pieces to the skin with spirit gum, but I have not tried this and can't guarantee the results.

What if I supply an incorrect address or a package is returned?

Please make sure to double-check your shipping address before placing an order! The buyer is responsible for providing a correct shipping address. If USPS returns a package to us with a "Return to Sender" note, we will refund the order minus the shipping cost and the buyer is free to purchase again (after updating their address). If the package is lost due to an incorrect address, we cannot provide a refund.

Seller's description

This listing is for a set of two horns. Each of these big resin horns are 10" in length, slightly curved, with a base of pebbly reptile scales that measures 3" by 2.25" at the opening. They are cast hollow to keep the weight down (about 3oz each).

These horns can be worn a number of different ways; some examples are shown in the photos! They can be attached to a headband to be used as actual horns, or added to other costume pieces (such as fantasy weapons or pauldron armor) as accessories. They can also be used in other crafts, fantasy taxidermy, or anything else you can think of.

These horns are cast in impact-resistant, white-colored resin, a type of casting plastic. If you choose the cleanup option, I also remove any flashing from the molding process and sand the edges smooth.

If you need a quantity of horns other than two, please feel free to message me.

I sculpted the original horns from oil-based clay based on my own design, and then made a silicone mold of the sculpture. While I don't recommend treating them roughly, these tough resin pieces are much more likely to bounce than break if dropped!

CAST OPTIONS

You can choose from these options for the cast piece(s):

- Raw cast vs cleaned-up: A raw cast is straight out of the mold with minimal cleanup. There will be some flashing and the edges may be sharp. A raw cast will require you to do some sanding and cleanup before use. You can also choose the cleaned-up option, where we take care of removing all of the flashing and sanding the edges clean and smooth.
