A custom, hand-painted, house number sign can display whatever your heart desires in a combination of traditional, detailed, realistic, and fantasy styles. This sign has a traditional shape containing a large space for a featured image, one at each of the 4 corners, small image st the top, & optional 2 vignettes at bottom center, &/or extended feature painting where the number would usually be..

If there exists a special wall, inside or outside, that needs some color or decorative flair where plants can't grow, a custom sign may be your answer! It can be painted in whatever colors would work well with your house colors, or the basic dark blue, & be based on your preferred subjects real or imagined (cats, dogs, animals, beach, lighthouses, birds, theater, airplanes, flowers, history, etc.).

Friends and emergency vehicles will be able to see your house number from the street.
Four numbers filling the large white space would be 5" high; 5 numbers would be approximately 3.25" high. The number space can be used, instead, as a memo board, if painted with chalkboard or dry erase paint, OR as pure wall decor, if you choose to have another vignette painted in that space (Sorry, but that has a bit extra charge). This one could even be adapted into a fireplace screen.

Original sign will be done using 1/4" hardboard, scroll sawed; 3 coats of gesso, sanded; acrylic paint; then completed with 3 layers of archival UV resistant, matte varnish sealer, which is non-yellowing . Acrylics are waterproof, but I take this extra protection step anyway, for increased fade resistance.
Printed copy is done directly on the hardboard, using UV ink, which provides fade resistance, water resistance, & non-yellowing properties, yet doesn't use volatile solvents, making it environmentally friendly.

Sign can be attached to concrete, brick, or siding, with siding mounts or masonry screws . To mount, drill holes in the sign in places that don't detract from the picture or can be easily painted over, making sure they co-ordinate with secure places in the wall.
