This is a group of beautiful Crown Staffordshire fine bone china dinnerware. It is creamy pale yellow/ivory in color and decorated with cherry blossom branches in two shades of green, yellow, and brown. The brown branches and the blossom outlines are transfer, and the blossoms are hand painted. The rims and handles of all the pieces are trimmed in gold. Circa 1930s or 1940s. (Zoom for larger views.)

1 square-ish platter with tab handles
1 covered sugar bowl, 1 large creamer, and 1 smaller creamer
2 cup and saucer sets
4 saucers

luncheon plates – a bit over 8 inches in diameter
platter – 10.25 inches in diameter from handle to handle
sugar bowl – 4.75 inches high to top of finial, 6.75 inches long handle to handle
large creamer/pitcher – 4.5 inches high, 5.75 inches long from lip to handle
small creamer – 4 inches high, 5 inches long from lip to end of handle
cups – a bit over 2.5 inches high, 3.25 inches in diameter at the top
saucers – 4.75 inches in diameter
Each piece is marked in green: Fine Bone China – Crown Staffordshire – Estd. (crown) 1801 – Made in England. They are also marked F14889 which is the pattern number. (If you would like to see a photo of the backstamp or a closeup photo of the platter, please contact me.)
All the pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The small creamer has some wear to the gold trim.
Gorgeous old fine bone china for display and use. The cherry blossom design is very beautiful yet simple and elegant. And it mixes very nicely with other dinnerware.
