Super Quick and easy Knitting Pattern for Rib Mesh Lace stitch Infinity scarf / cowl. The scarf is quick to make and knitted on large needles with bulky or chunky yarn. This is a very easy pattern that has been specially written for beginner knitters. You need to know how to do the following stitches:-
Knit
Purl
Knit 2 together
Yarn Over (YO)
Sl St. (slip a stitch)
Cast on and Bind off (cast off)
The pattern is written in simple English with a full explanation of each stage and color photos to guide you from start to finish. An ideal project for someone who has mastered the basics and has just started to use knitting patterns.
To make the scarf you will need -
1 pair of 6.5mm knitting needles (US size 10 1/2)
approx 350yds (320mts) of any Bulky or Chunky Yarn. The version in the photos uses a wool and acrylic mix).
3 x wooden buttons approx 1" - 1/2" diameter
1 x darning needle to sew on the buttons.
