This hippo soft toy has a friendly ducky friend with a tiny pouch which can hold a note for somebody who really needs it. Because a hippo can't be the only one who would like to have such a ducky friend I included a 5 page, photo-illustrated, FREE Lucky ducky pattern. There is also a FREE trousers pattern for the hippo to keep him warm!

This sewing pattern includes:

▶▶ MEASUREMENTS
The hippo is 16 inch (40 cm) standing up and 11 inch (28 cm) sitting.
The document size is 8 x 10 inches (20,3 x 25,4 cm) so that the file will print on both A4 and letter-sized sheets without scaling.

▶▶ MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED
- Plush; 40 x 20 inch
- Some scraps of printed fabric (soles, lining ears)
- Some scraps of yellow felt if you want to make the duck
- 2 Safety eyes or black felt
- Black and white embroidery floss if you don't use safety eyes
- Stuffing
- A reel of thread
- Adobe Acrobat Reader software (available FREE from get.adobe.com/reader/) to open and print the files correctly.
