Highlights
Fabulous scarce 19th Century antique farmhouse period 1870's to 1910's pine or fir kitchen cubbyhole storage pantry cupboard. Beautiful early primitive ~!! Very rare to find one with the built in cubbyholes.
Thick beadboard or wainscot back. Early old gray interior paint. Old salmon pink peach paint over white scrubbed paint exterior. When you open the doors it has a mild musty smell to it of early kitchen.
Beautiful solid craftsman cabinetry construction with detail early hinges and cabinet latch.
Condition issues: very minor....old latch is a tiny offset but actually latches just fine if you close doors together, then only sometimes it leaves a 1/4" lag at the top. It could be remedied by a woodworker with a magnet to hold it.
Other than that, nothing to report... it is all just expected vintage wear for its 100 plus year old age~!
Tight frame, heavy piece for its size~! You will love adding this to your home~!!
