Industrial lamp from paper pulp "Rumcajs"

This lamp will give your apartment a new life! It is very organic and will make your living room area more inviting and “homy”. This rustic pendant light will make you want to spend more time on your comfortable sofa and just enjoy the space. Paper lamp shade has a very sculptural and rustic surface. Even when it’s OFF you can admire a wonderful game of light and shadow on its surface.

The name of this paper mache lamp comes from the title of the Czech cartoon called “Rumcajs”. In this cartoon famous during the 90'ies in Poland the main character wore a specific kind of hat which shape was a source of inspiration for me to create this lamp.
This collection includes 2 similar lamps:

◉ Material
Meets the requirements of even the most fearless ecologists. Lamp is made of pulped newspapers, water based, cellulosic glue. All these components, as well as the process of lamp formation, are environmentally friendly and ecological. Lamp is very lightweight and durable.

Textile cord:
- 1m/ 39 inch

◉ Bulbs
Let it shine only with LED bulbs up to 20W (the bulb is not included) with E27 ending.

◉ Installation
Lamp comes with a bulb holder, cord and canopy made also from paper pulp (has the same colour as the lamp). All you need to do is to mount it on the ceiling.

◉ Customisation

◉ About Maria
Maria is a Barcelona based artist who creates one-of-a-kind lighting sculptures. Each of her lamps is a hand-made work of art. Maria’s lamps were featured in Vogue, Elle Decoration and Architectural Digest, just to name a few.
