Highlights
This is an incredibly striking and elegant medium viridian green beaded gown and matching jacket ensemble made of silk and never worn, with the tags still attached. The gown is sleeveless with a fitted bodice and a slightly flared skirt. Both the bodice and the skirt have been embellished with silver bead work designs. The gown has a back zipper for closure and the muslin tape is still attached to the hem line for protection. The gown measures 18" across the bust line, 12.5" across the waist line, and 17" across the hip line. The ensemble is marked a size 12. The jacket is shorter in the front than in the back and has a snap closure at its neckline. It is in minty, unworn, vintage condition with the exception of a water mark on the back of the jacket which occurred while steaming and has been photographed. The jacket has a long sash which wraps around the neck and drapes over the shoulder and down the back of the jacket. The effect is stunning and glamorous.
