These work hardened, thicker jump rings close much tighter than other jump rings in the same size.

At 20 gauge, these are great for:
-- finishing petite chains .. best for chains 1.3 mm or wider to ensure they will fit in the links*
-- attaching charms / discs / gems to chains or earrings
-- anywhere you need a small and strong jumpring
* some thinner chains might need 21/22/24 ga jumprings or wire wrapping to finish

We carry locking jumprings in
3-4 mm ... 22/24 ga for finishing thin chains or attaching gems & dangles on earrings
3-6 mm ... 20/21 ga for finishing small / medium chains, attaching small pendants
4-8 mm ... 18/19 ga for finishing medium chains, attaching medium/large pendants

SIMPLE TO USE .. allow a little bit of practice :)
-- position two flat chain nose pliers at 10 & 2 o'clock
-- open jumpring by sliding one side 1/4 turn towards you past the closed position
-- add clasp, charm, chain, etc. to jump ring
-- hold left plier steady
-- slide right side away from you 1/4 turn past the closed position
-- slide right side towards you back to closed position WHILE PUSHING ENDS IN TOGETHER
-- gently wiggle both sides to align ends.
** you will hear a "locking" of the jump ring or feel it snap into a "locked" state once activated.
** when held up to light you should see very little light pass where the jump ring closes together

I ordered this August 11th. It’s now September 1st and I still do not have these items. I contacted the seller and I waited three weeks for a response from Etsy and I’m now out $60. Do not buy from this seller! They have the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. They will not refund you! I have not received my items or a refund. I am an Etsy seller and I’ve had to refund countless customers when there item was “ lost in the mail” and these people refuse to. Do not buy from this Etsy shop! You lost me as a customer! Thanks for nothing!

Amanda is very confused; please take her rant, or 'review' with a grain of salt. We actually have very good customer service, please see the majority of our reviews :) We are not perfect, but we do pretty well. What Amanda fails to say in her review, is that she did not purchase insurance for her order, something that we offer and we do mention in our store policy. Secondly, her package is with the USPS and tracking shows this. Yes, it is moving slower than normal, but unfortunately the USPS does not guarantee first class, nor priority shipping (they give estimated deliery times, but these are only estimates). USPS only guarantees Express service and even then, they are not always successful. Please also note, due to the covid 19 pandemic, domestic and int'l mail can be slower.
