They are the best pins for making pastry... gently nudges your dough into a circle, barely disturbing it, keeping the pastry light and flakey. If you have watched the movie 'Julia Julia' you will know.....

Turned one at a time, sanded to a smooth sheen..Carefully carved and finished ends. Then they are rubbed and burnished with sunflower oil bringing out the best in the flame figured birch. Food safe oil/beeswax topcoat to finish and buff. Just wipe with a damp cloth after use and rub dry.
