Paper bead rolling can be a tedious and frustrating chore as you work with various homemade tools ranging from toothpicks to straws to bamboo sticks, etc. The paper bead roller is a tool you will fall in love with! Just slide the paper into the slot, give it a quick turn and you are off to a fast start. You don't have to worry anymore about keeping the paper on the tool as the slot will hold it there for you. The slot is wide enough that it works equally well with recycled paper, card stock and other paper mediums. This tool will roll beads as thick as you want with a hole diameter that correlates to the diameter of the metal tip and the finished bead will easily accommodate elastic cord, leather cord, hemp cord, and other stringing materials that do not exceed that diameter.

**The stainless metal tip has a slit running down the center and completely through the metal on both sides. Length of slit is 3/4" or longer.
**Handle is approximately 4" long and 1/2" in diameter and is made from wood that is covered with vinyl rubber.
**Can be used for quilling and paper bead rolling. The slotted opening in the metal tip is wide enough that it works equally well with recycled paper, card stock and other paper mediums.

My paper bead rollers are made by hand. The wood handle is cut, sanded, drilled and a stainless steel metal tip is inserted. Then the wood handle is inserted into a piece of vinyl rubber that is tough and provides a soft, cushiony feel as you work with the roller. The rubber handle makes cleanup quick and easy. Do not use an abrasive scrubber on the handle as that will mar the grip. Using a kitchen sponge or just your hands with soap and water will do a quick clean up. If you enjoy quilling, it will work well for that also and allow you to use thicker and wider strips of paper.

**Note: Metal slots in roller tips are all less than 1" in length with the exception of the 1/16" roller that can have up to 1 1/2" slot in the tip. If you would like the longer tip on that roller you must put the request in the comments section of your order. All dimensions are approximate and can vary.

NOTE: Length, and diameter of metal head and width of length of paper slot may vary slightly. Moisture causes wood to contract and expand. Because of this natural process, there may be an occasion when a metal tip may fall out or begin to spin in the roller. There isn't any type of glue or epoxy that will bond metal to wood forever. Therefore, I cannot guarantee this will never happen. However, if it falls out, you can re-secure it easily with epoxy glue.

IMPORTANT: Paper bead rollers are designed to hold paper strips in place while you roll. Metal tips can be bent and damaged. Please take care not to bend the metal. The smaller in diameter the metal tip is, the more likely it is to bend from undue pressure.

Delays with carrier speeds is the sole responsibility of the carrier. While Ground Zero Creations always ships promptly, we are not responsible for delays once the package has reached the courier. If you choose to request a cancellation/refund on an order prior to it reaching you, I will be unable to process the request until a) the package has been returned to me in its original condition; or 2) courier has verified the package has been lost in transit. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges when cancellations and refund requests are received after the package has shipped due to late delivery on the courier's end.

It is the buyer's responsibility to provide a secure location for receiving packages. USPS, UPS and FedEx insurance do NOT cover theft once your package has been marked as delivered by USPS, UPS or FedEx tracking.

Once the carrier marks the package as delivered, in the US, the seller's responsibility for the package ends. If your receiving location isn't secure, you should consider using a package receiving company. If your package is stolen after delivery, for help, you will need to file under your home owner's or renter's insurance and file a police report.

Rubber handle for good grip, wood underneath. Smallest sizes has a tendency to bend out of shape and are impossible to straighten properly. Overall they do the job although the slots are a little tight (I guess that’s better than loose considering you WANT tension) you have to be a little creative putting in more than 2-3 sheets of paper depending on your thickness.

Thank you for your review. The smaller the diameter of the roller tip, the less space will be between the prongs. The roller tips can be used for more than a couple of sheets, but are not designed to fit a lot of strips at the same time. When you force too much paper into the slot, you run the risk of springing the metal. For rolling a lot of strips at one time, place a couple of strips in the tip and then add the extra strips once you have started the roll. I am sorry you did not notice the warning about damaging the tips as appears on the listing. IMPORTANT: Paper bead rollers are designed to hold paper strips in place while you roll. Metal tips can be bent and damaged. Please take care not to bend the metal. The smaller in diameter the metal tip is, the more likely it is to bend from undue pressure.
