PEPPER MILL KIT: 4"-10" High Quality Stainless Steel Pepper Mill Parts kits for mills from 4-10"

This kit contains all the metal hardware needed to complete a pepper mill for 4", 6", 8', and 10" heights. It is a high quality USA made stainless steel grinder.

The kit includes the following parts as shown in the photos:

1. Shaft required for the length of the kit.
2. 4 each SS screws for mounting the grinder and head plate.
3. Head turnplate disk
4. Grinder retainer bar
5. Spring
6. Spring bar
7. Top adjustment knob-marked "P"
8. Male grinder piece
9. Female grinder piece

All you need to supply is the properly shaped piece of wood of your choice. This kit does not include any wood. You will need to turn your own wood shape to complete a working mill.

This grinder has a top knob marked with a "P". The grinder assembly is made with quality stainless steel. It is intended for use with pepper and other herbs. THIS PEPPER GRINDER IS NOT TO BE USED FOR GRINDING SALT. If you want to grind salt, order one of the similar salt grinders also sold in this ETSY shop. Salt grinders use a special non-corrosive ceramic grinder to hold up to the destructive properties of salt.

This is the same high quality USA grinder that I use in all my 2-piece wood top hand mills and almost all of my crank style pepper mills. Brass top pepper mills use a different imported grinding mechanism.

NOTE: This kit is intended to be used in a newly created peppermill, or as replacement parts for a professional Chef Specialties USA manufactured mill. If you have an older peppermill that needs parts, this kit may not work. All imported mills use metric parts. This kit is USA SAE 12-24 thread and no parts are interchangeable with any metric mills. To use these kits, the center hole must be 1-1/16" wide. The bottom hole must be at least 1-5/8" wide. In some cases with wood body mills, the inner hole diameters can be re-bored to receive this new kit. If you have any doubts, send me a note before you make the purchase.
