Handmade in my Cornwall workshop, this pure tin ring is a thoughtful 10th anniversary gift that captures the meaning of tin — the traditional material for 10 years of marriage.
Each piece is cast in 100% pure tin by hand, then carefully finished and polished so the surface catches the light beautifully. No two are ever quite the same — small variations in the metal are part of what makes this a true one-of-a-kind keepsake rather than something mass produced.
I founded my workshop here in Cornwall after years working as a silversmith and metal sculptor. Every order is made to order, which means the piece you receive has been crafted specifically for the anniversary you are celebrating. Tin has been associated with marriage milestones for centuries because it represents durability without rigidity — strong, but able to bend and adapt without breaking. That felt like the right symbol for a long partnership.
WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE
Your keepsake will arrive carefully boxed and ready for gifting, with a small handwritten note explaining the meaning behind the tin tradition.
HOW IT IS MADE
I cast each piece using traditional sand-casting techniques in my small Cornish studio. The tin is melted in a crucible, poured by hand, and then filed, sanded, polished, and inspected before it ships. Three to five working days per item.
A NOTE ON CARE
Pure tin is a soft, low-maintenance metal. Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
