Made for a Dwarf King, this midnight blue faux leather surcoat, works just as well for Medieval and Renaissance knights, lords and kings, as well as Viking adventurers. The Dwarf King Surcoat is richly trimmed at collar, centre front opening edges, and all hemlines with a luxuriously thick, silky soft faux fur.

The Dwarf King Surcoat is oversized to fit comfortably over other costume layers. It has a slight “A” shape, increasing in width as it descends. The finished coat will be as much as 4” (10 cm) larger than your actual measurements to allow for other layers.

The easily cleaned faux leather can seem to shift colors depending on the light, ranging from dark blue, through steel grey to black. The thick, silky fur is varigated blonde, with colors ranging from white to tan.

Construction details
- All seams are double stitched with heavy, upholstery-weight thread for added strength.
- Coordinating waxed braided cord is handstitched in place for the decorative over stitching on the back and waist seams, adding a high level of texture and detail. Unlacing the cord will not separate the top and bottom panels.
- Side seams and the 2 skirt panel vents (from hemline to dropped waist) are shifted slightly to the back, presenting a smooth line from front to sides, but still allowing comfortable movement.
- Deep armholes allow ease of movement and are self-faced for a smooth finish.
- Drop waist sits about 4”(10 cm) below your natural waistline.
- Back seam is contoured for a closer fit at the back, balancing the open front, which is not designed to close.
- Fur collar is deep across the shoulders and back, narrowing at the front and hemline.
- The faux leather is backed with a grey interlock fabric, which prevents stretching and sagging.

This coat is made to order. Please allow 2 weeks for production. For the best fit, I need the following measurements from you (use inches or centimetres, whichever you’re most comfortable with):
Length from base of your throat to your natural waist line
Chest circumference
Waist circumference
Desired coat length (length down your back from base of your neck to desired hemline)

Care instructions: Wipe down faux leather with warm water and a clean, lint-free cloth. Brush dust and dirt out of faux fur by hand. Dry Clean only for a deeper cleaning.
