Larimar- is an ocean-blue form of Pectolite, which is normally white. Pectolite is a sodium calcium silicate. Larimar can be striated with red dendrites, and the color tone can vary from green to light blue with white Pectolite mixing all through. It was found in the Dominican Republic, which remains to date the only mining location. Pectolite is a hydrous sodium calcium silicate. In the spirit realm, Larimar is called incandescent, because its energy is so brilliant and clear on the other side. It literally acts as a beacon which attracts good intentions, prayers, blessings and healing energy to the wearer.
