These Coyote bones been ethically sourced. The wildfires in the Pacific Northwest and the Southwest have chased thousands of animals from the dense wooded and or/ grassland prairie areas they once called home. The animals that have escaped the flames are either dying from smoke inhalation or pass on from starvation after the land has been scorched and their food sources have been eliminated. Some of our Coyote bones also come from storms that have flooded woodland areas. Some Coyote bones have been harvested from roadkill and some of our coyote bones come from ranches and farms where the coyote had to be killed as they were threatening livestock and farm animals. We harvest these animals and bring them back to live in either our jewelry or sell the claws and bones to others for their creative inspirations.
