This DUET contains Hand dyed Dorr wool and Dharma silk - 1/4 yard (silk is 8 1/2 " x full width and wool is a fat quarter) or 1/2 yard (approx. 16" x full length) It is designed to work beautifully together for backgrounds, outlines, and highlights ....adding texture, movement, and shimmering accents to your rug hooking projects. The striated effect of this technique lends itself to cutting strips longwise to get the full impact of subtle color changes throughout the piece. Of course, you can cut it shortwise to emphasize particular areas of color.
