This pattern is for an art quilt inspired by the wonderful work of quilter Freddy Moran. It uses a house motif and vibrant fabric choices -- clear, bright, patterned colors set off by black & white fabrics. Of course you can change the look of the quilt depending on the fabrics you choose to use. I've made the quilt twice and had fun both times playing with the combinations of colorful and patterned fabrics.

The directions here are for paper piecing a decorative quilt with blocks that finish at 7-1/2" x 7-1/2" and that ends up approximately 36” high by 36” wide when completed. If you prefer to sew with templates, templates can be made from the diagrams included with this pattern. Please know that this pattern is instructions how to make a quilt. This is not a kit nor a finished quilt, but instructions (with diagrams and pattern pieces) on nine pages of paper on how to make a quilt that looks like this one. Again, the look of the quilt will vary given the fabrics you already own or can obtain.
