Care instructions for felt: Felted wool slippers and shoes, as well as other natural wool does not require washing. Wool naturally repels dirt, it is usually sufficient to air felted footwear for odors to disappear. If necessary, wash clogs by hand or in a washing machine on wool or hand-washing mode, use detergent for wool. The clogs should be washed and rinsed in warm water of the same temperature, as felted things shrink because of temperature variations. For several minutes leave upright to dry on absorbent surface (such as a dry towel) to get rid of water excess. Reshape by hand or (or put on and shape on foot) while damp and leave it to dry, upright also.

These are super nice THICK, sturdy insoles - a strong quarter of an inch thick! This order will make my third pair of these. I got them to help keep my slippers clean (i hand wash with soap in tepid water, roll the excess moisture out inside a towel and air dry) and to help my slippers fit a little snugger after they stretched from wearing thick socks with them. Super nice insoles! I have a really wide foot (Jurga has handmade custom width slippers and a pair of boots for me) and even tho these are narrow than my feet, oddly I don’t seem to notice it at all even with hire thick they are. They just seem to become part of the slipper and *they don’t work their way out of my slip on slippers!* like my much thinner pair from another place. Love them and Jurga is a dream to work with! ❤️

I ordered the felt insoles to use in other pairs of shoes. When my slippers arrived, I put them in the slippers instead. They make the slippers fit and feel perfect. I may be ordering more of these for other shoes.
